BIOGRAPHY
Director/Producer Michelle Angelo grew up on the South Shore of Long Island, just across the Great South Bay from Fire Island. Michelle graduated from East Islip High School in 1998 and Lafayette College in 2002 where she double majored in History and Art. She went on to get her MFA in Film and Electronic Media at American University in Washington DC. While at American University Michelle held internships at National Geographic in story development and at The Cannes Film Festival and worked on many shorts including "Jones Stuns the World" and "The Wallet" which both earned recognition at American University's Annual Visions Festival. "The Many Faces of Fire Island" was Michelle's Masters Thesis project at American University and earned Michelle her degree in May 2005. Since 2005 Michelle held a job as an Assistant Editor on Plum TV's political talk show, Duff Talk and at Pro Image Studios where she worked as an Editor and Production Assistant. In April 2006 she became a Producer on the PBS Children's Show, Kid Fitness.
